I have thought about this whole blogging thing. I looked back on this particular site of mine and couldn’t believe I hadn’t blogged about any wine since April of 2014. Now that could mean a couple of things. One, I have been pretty busy. Two, I lost interest. Or three, well I think I’ve been pretty busy 😉
One of the wines I had the privilege of drinking last week was the BRYTER 2012 Chardonnay. This wine paired well with some wonderful seafood at a dear friend’s mother’s 80th birthday party. This wine made from Gap’s Crown Vineyard on the Sonoma Coast was well received that evening. Terin Ignozzi, owner and winemaker of BRYTER Estates, has done an awesome job with these Chardonnay grapes. It’s a nice rich, complex Chardonnay. Those are hard to find I might add. Very well-balanced with acidity, oak, and complex flavors. I found tropical fruits, lemon, pear, and hints of spice. Long finish.
You can find this wine at the BRYTER Estates tasting room on the Sonoma Square, Sonoma, CA. Or you can buy it on her website here.
Thanks Terin for the awesome Chardonnay
Cheers
Cindy
