About

Experience Bells Up Winery "We all have two lives, and the second begins the moment we realize we only get one." - Confucius After more than a decade of success as a corporate tax attorney in Cincinnati, Dave Specter was emotionally and physically spent. His wife Sara convinced him to leave the profession and the pair turned the hobby that brought him joy—winemaking—into his new career. Upon moving to Newberg, they established Bells Up in 2013. Today, Dave shares his love of wine and winemaking by hosting private tasting experiences with wine newbies and connoisseurs alike. Micro-boutique, un-domaine and always open by appointment, Bells Up composes 600 cases of handcrafted, classically styled Oregon Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Rosé of Pinot Noir, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Seyval Blanc—the Willamette Valley's first and only planting of this varietal (and only the second in Oregon). Experience your own #bellsupmoment in a private tasting with winemaker Dave. Call 503.537.1328 to schedule; Please review our COVID-19 Safety Measures.

Where distinction is grown.

Framed by the Coast Range to the west and Cascades to the east, it is recognized as one of the premier winegrowing regions in the world. At 150 miles long it offers…
